Ammon News - The value of foreign reserves at the Central Bank of Jordan reached a new record high of $22.8 billion by the end of April of 2025.
The CBJ's foreign reserves increased by 8% from the beginning of 2025 to the end of April, amounting to $1.68 billion, according the bank.
Data indicated that the value of the Central Bank's gold reserves reached a new record of JD5.5 billion by the end of April of 2025.
Also, the data showed that for the first time, foreign reserves cover Jordan's imports of goods and services for 8.8 months.
The CBJ's gold reserves rose to 2.344 million ounces by the end of April of 2025, the data indicated.
