Ammon News - The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (Kan) said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the start of restoration and maintenance work on the Buraq Wall, or the Western Wall of the Noble Sanctuary.

The report stated that Netanyahu authorized the actions through the National Security Council due to the sensitivity of the situation regarding Jordan as the custodian of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and other Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem.

"Based on this, the Israeli occupation issued an official update to Jordan before commencing restoration and maintenance work," the report added.
