Ammon News - The Social Security Corporation (SSC) renewed its call for indebted establishments to benefit from its Board of Directors' decision to extend the 0% interest waiver on debt instalments.
The deadline ends on June 30, while the ultimatum granted for Jordan's tourism sector businesses falls on December 31.
In a statement on Tuesday, the SSC said it has facilitated procedures for outstanding payments for businesses, for a repayment period of up 120 instalments.
The SSC noted its move pays attention to circumstances of these businesses to help maintain their economic activities and benefit society and citizens.
As for tourist businesses, the SSC has granted additional benefits for the sector to pay their debt instalments for a period of up to 180 tranches.
The decision would alleviate the "greater" impact on Jordan's tourist businesses due to the region's circumstances, which have "negatively" affected tourist activity and the sector's work environment.
The SSC noted establishments, which have already signed an active installment or rescheduling agreement, can also benefit from this waiver and submit a rescheduling request. Petra
