Ammon News - Temperatures are set to rise slightly on Saturday, with maximum temperatures forecast to be 5-6 degrees Celsius higher than their seasonal average.

The weather will be warm almost nationwide and blistering in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), temperatures are tipped to drop "slightly" on Sunday, as substantially similar weather is expected as the day earlier.

On Monday, the mercury will lightly do down, and the weather will be spring-like and fair in most areas, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Also today, temperatures in the capital Amman will hit a high of 31degrees Celsius and a low of 14 Celsius, meanwhile the port city of Aqaba will see a scorching 39 Celsius during the day, sliding to 22 Celsius at night. Petra
