In the grand amphitheater of Middle Eastern affairs, where tragedies and comedies intertwine, a new farce unfolds; the call for civil disobedience in Jordan, ostensibly to champion Gaza's plight. This, despite Jordan's unwavering and gallant support for the Palestinian cause—a stance as steadfast as the ancient stones of Petra.
On our very own stage, a peculiar drama is being enacted—a blend of frivolous antics and hearts ablaze with passion. Behold! A chorus of jesters clamors for a "civil disobedience battle," protesting the sorrows befalling our brethren in Gaza. Yet, the scene is distorted, the plot absurd, as some demand a course unforeseen by our collective spirit. The steadfast and valiant hand of Jordan extends aid to Gaza's plight—aid that is visible, wise, and heartfelt—a tale worth telling. Can the gentle voice of reason unravel this enigma?
While Jordan upholds the pillars of justice, serving as the true voice of the Arab and Islamic world against the harsh schools of despotism, these jesters opt for "civil disobedience," defying the twin tools of common sense! Supporting Palestine, from the sunlit desert dunes to the fertile hills of Gilead, requires a united heart and a singular purpose.
A kingdom that defends Gaza's rights, dispatching bread and balm under the somber cloak of night, stirring the global arena with diplomatic prowess, is attacked as if it were a deceitful colonizer! Here, madness is laid bare: banners wave for Gaza's cause, yet the feeble battle is directed at Jordan's helping hand, which combats falsehood with all its might! Do they protest against a king whose heart burns more intensely for Palestine? What a truly terrifying absurdity!
Our linguistic kin, while Jordan's heart aches for Palestine and its unwavering anthem resounds against the tyrant's might, find their greatest fury directed at their benefactor! Like jesters at a feast, their actions rank among the strangest our land has witnessed. They speak fervently of Gaza's tragedies, yet often unleash their bitter arrows and cries as if biting the hand that supports them! It's a tug-of-war they play, devoid of any meaning.
From a land across time, called America, this guest steps into our peculiar homeland. A link between us and the foe, an unbreakable reality, yet, in our people's eyes, a thorny yet necessary comb. Like the airport's Wi-Fi symbol—something we must grow accustomed to, though it often tests our patience. And the wild cries of civil strife, like overzealous players, will score their goals under the referee's indifferent gaze! A lesson they must learn before greater follies arise.
The Jordan River stands firm, a steady gaze like a beacon. Balancing principle and strength in a delicate yet bold dance, it shows the world that honor knows no second chance. True brotherly love and deep spirit, unshackled by fleeting superficial circumstances, will guide our noble deeds. Let's end this transient absurdity and give our hearts the chance to stand firmly and sincerely with the oppressed.
Every Jordanian's heart is with Gaza and the West Bank; our tears precede our words when we witness the injustice and oppression befalling our kin there. No one can deny our nation's stance—our voice resonates in every forum, our aid is unceasing, and our political and diplomatic efforts are tireless. Instead of standing as a united front, like "beads on a string," we become a cacophony of discord!
How can we oppose a government that stands at the forefront defending the Palestinian cause and demand actions that contradict its honorable positions?
Some forces attempt to impose their agendas on Jordan, using carrots and sticks, aiming to sway it from its steadfast positions. But alas! Jordan, under its wise Hashemite leadership and proud people, remains as solid as a rock, unshaken by raging winds, unmoved by glittering promises.
Some Arab nations offered millions to Jordan to "silence" the Muslim Brotherhood, but Jordan chivalrously replied, "No thanks, they are part of our political fabric!" Yet, the comedic paradox is that the Brotherhood sometimes ignites the streets like a "wedding jester" tossing his cake at the groom!
But today, it reaches a level where some seem intent on turning the homeland into an "open theater," each delivering their monologue, while the Palestinian cause—which unites Jordanians—is used as an "emotional bonus" to pass unrelated agendas.
Instead of disobedience, why not rebel against the "culture of treason" and "contradictory discourse"? Let's remember that supporting Gaza doesn't require fiery slogans but wise policies balancing heart and mind... perhaps that's the most challenging absurdity!
Jordan emerges as a tale of balancing principles and interests, proving to the world that sovereignty and dignity are neither sold nor bought, and that true support for brethren stems from the heart, not narrow political calculations.
May the Lord protect our kingdom and grant Gaza, drowning in tears, a dawn of peace and justice. Amen.
