Ammon News - Data from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities showed that the number of overnight and one-day visitors from all European countries reached 126,223 people during the months of January and February.
The number of overnight tourists reached 96,465, while the number of one-day visitors reached 29,758, for a total of 126,223 people, according to the data.
Official figures indicate that last year the number of overnight tourists reached 77,844, while the number of one-day visitors reached 17,822, for a total of 95,666 people from all European countries.
Compared to the same period in 2024 and 2025, the number of overnight and same-day visitors from all over Europe grew by 31.9%.
Preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) earlier indicated that tourism revenues increased by 16.3% during the first two months of 2025, reaching $1,283.8 million, compared to the same period in 2024.
This is due to an 18.5% increase in the number of tourists.
The data also showed a 12.0% increase in tourism revenue from all nationalities, including Jordanian expatriates 12.0%, Arabs 16.7%, Europeans 4.6%, Americans 14.6%, and other nationalities 42.5%.
