“Friends of Jordan Festivals Marks 15 Years of Cultural Excellence with a Nationwide Celebration”
Amman, Jordan – Friends of Jordan Festivals (FJF), a pioneering non-profit organization dedicated to curating and implementing world-class cultural events, proudly celebrates its 15th anniversary. This milestone underscores FJF’s commitment to enriching Jordan’s artistic landscape, fostering cultural exchange, and contributing to economic growth through vibrant, large-scale events that support local talent and communities.
Since its inception in 2010, FJF has been at the forefront of Jordan’s cultural and entertainment scenes, presenting over 125 prestigious festivals and performances that have placed Jordan on the global cultural map. The organization’s impact extends beyond entertainment, directly aligning with the country’s Economic Vision 2033 by driving job creation, stimulating tourism, and enhancing the overall quality of life through accessible cultural programming. Rooted in values of inclusivity and social responsibility, FJF is equally committed to empowering women, children with disabilities, and underprivileged communities across Jordan. Its initiatives are designed to ensure that culture is not only celebrated but also serves as a powerful tool to honor Jordan’s identity and achieve empowerment, representation, and sustainable development.
A Year of Celebration Across the Kingdom
To commemorate this significant occasion, Friends of Jordan Festivals will launch its calendar of 15 Anchor Events as well as 15 series of impactful experiences and collaborations spanning multiple governorates, aligning with national efforts which emphasize the importance of investing in youth, supporting local talent, and uplifting under-resourced communities in Jordan’s remote and economically challenged areas.
This celebratory program will feature Cultural Performances – A showcase of Jordan’s rich artistic heritage, featuring live music, theatrical productions, and dance performances that spotlight both emerging and established talents.
