Warm spring weather across most regions until Friday

Ammon News - Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Tuesday, with warm spring conditions prevailing across most regions, accompanied by scattered high-altitude clouds. Winds will be light and southeasterly, according to a report by the Jordan Meteorological Department.

The report said temperatures will continue to increase on Wednesday, bringing warm spring weather to most areas and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will remain light and southeasterly.

On Thursday, temperatures are forecast to rise further, exceeding seasonal averages by 8 to 10 degrees Celsius. The weather will remain warm in most regions and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high-altitude cloud cover. Winds will be moderate and southeasterly.

The report added that Friday will see continued warm spring weather across most areas, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience hot conditions. High-altitude clouds will persist, with southeasterly winds shifting to moderate southwesterly in the afternoon. Winds may occasionally become active, raising dust in southern parts of the country.

Maximum and minimum temperatures expected for Tuesday range between 24 C and 13 C in East Amman, 22 C and 11 C in West Amman, 20 C and 12 C in the Northern Highlands, and 21 C and 10 C in the Sharah Highlands.

In the Badia regions, temperatures will range from 28 C to 15 C, while the Plains will see 24 C to 14 C. The Northern Jordan Valley is expected to record temperatures between 30 C and 16 C, while the Southern Jordan Valley will range from 32 C to 23 C.

The Dead Sea is forecast to reach 31 C with a low of 22 C, and the Gulf of Aqaba will see temperatures between 32 C and 21 C. Petra
