Ammon News - Temperatures are set to rise Saturday, but remain 5-6 degrees Celsius lower than their seasonal average, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
In the morning hours, the JMD referred to a slight chance of light, scattered showers in the Kingdom's northern and central regions and limited southwestern areas, while the weather will gradually stabilize in the afternoon.
In its report, the JMD warns of the risk of low horizontal visibility in the morning hours due to fog formation over mountainous areas , as well as frost and slippery roads.
On Sunday, temperatures are tipped to rise again, with relatively cold weather forecast to prevail almost country, while Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will see warm weather.
Mercury will continue to go up on Monday, while it will record higher levels to top its seasonal average on Tuesday.
Also today, temperatures in the capital Amman will reach a high of 13 degrees Celsius and a low of 2 Celsius, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 24 Celsius during the day, sliding to 13 Celsius at night. Petra
