Ammon News - The Cabinet, in its session held Tuesday headed by Prime Minister Dr, Jafar Hasan, approved a draft law regulating the use of virtual assets and digital currencies.
Minister of Government Communication Mohammed Momani announced the Cabinet's decisions at a press conference held in Madaba Governorate.
Momani stated that Jordan has been slow to enact legislation related to virtual assets and cryptocurrencies, noting that virtual assets have become an integral part of the global financial system.
He explained that an amended insurance law would address many of the legal shortcomings, obstacles, and loopholes, and would guarantee the rights and duties of insured persons.
