Ammon News - Jordan’s imports of crude oil, its derivatives, and mineral oils declined in 2024 to JD2.651 billion, down from JD2.936 billion in 2023, according to foreign trade data issued by the Department of Statistics.

The figures indicate that the Kingdom’s oil bill decreased by 9.7 percent last year, with a decline of approximately JD285 million compared to 2023.

Mineral oils and fuel accounted for the largest share of petroleum imports in 2024, valued at JD843 million, followed by crude oil at JD758 million. The Kingdom's gasoline imports stood at JD479 million, while diesel imports amounted to JD516 million.
