Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi visited Damascus on December 23, and confirmed, after meeting with President Ahmad al-Shara, Jordan’s readiness to help rebuild Syria, stressing that rebuilding Syria is important for Jordan and the region as a whole.

On January 7, 2025, Syria's Foreign Minister Asaad Sheibani visited Jordan, accompanied by Syrian Defense Minister Murhaf Abu Qasra and General Intelligence Chief Anas Khattab.
