Ammon News - The Public Security Directorate (PSD) warned citizens of the weather conditions expected in the coming days, as a result of the Kingdom being affected by a strong air depression accompanied by heavy rains and strong winds, which may lead to the formation of floods in some areas.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the PSD called on all citizens to exercise caution and stay away from low-lying areas and valleys to avoid the risk of floods. It also stressed the importance of driving carefully on the roads to avoid slipping, and avoiding leaving homes in the event of heavy rain except when necessary.

The PSD stressed the need for safe use of heating methods, regular ventilation of homes, securing volatile objects, and not hesitating to call the emergency number (911) in case of need for assistance.

Also, the Directorate confirmed that it is ready to deal with any emergency, calling on everyone to follow weather updates and adhere to the instructions to ensure public safety.
