Ammon News - Jordan continued sending humanitarian airlifts to deliver humanitarian and relief aid to Palestinians in Gaza, by sending 16 new planes carrying 20 tons of aid on Tuesday.
16 new aid planes took off from King Abdullah II Airbase in Al-Ghabawi, carrying 20 tons of humanitarian and relief aid, in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and a number of brotherly and friendly countries, to be delivered to those in need in the Strip.
Last Tuesday, the first aid planes arrived as part of the Jordanian airlift to the Gaza Strip.
Under royal directives, the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- the Arab Army, on Tuesday, operated a squadron of helicopters loaded with essential aid for the people of the Gaza Strip.
Minister of State Communications and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani said that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is launching an airlift for 8 days, with 16 flights per day, to transport aid to the people of Gaza.
