Ammon News - The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip appealed, on Monday, to the Jordan Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) in Jordan to give priority to sending tents and shelter supplies to the displaced Palestinians who lost their homes over the course of more than 15 months of the Israeli genocide, as part of the upcoming relief convoys.
The government office said in a statement in Arabic language: "In light of the catastrophic humanitarian conditions facing our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and with the continued entry of relief convoys, thankfully, from various parties, we stress the urgent and pressing need to provide shelter for the displaced who lost their homes as a result of the brutal Israeli aggression against our people."
"We call on our brothers in the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization to give priority to sending tents and shelter supplies in their upcoming relief convoys, in addition to food and relief supplies at the present time," according to the statement.
This appeal comes amid warnings of the repercussions of a new air depression hitting the Palestinian territories, including the Gaza Strip, on Wednesday, accompanied by heavy winds and rain.
