Ammon News - French club Rennes has reached an agreement with Montpellier to sign Jordanian Mousa Al-Taamari during the current winter transfer period, according to Winwin.
Informed sources on the details of the agreement reported that Rennes club officials agreed to the financial terms requested by Montpellier, to conclude the deal for the Jordanian international winger in a permanent transfer deal.
Rennes concluded the deal after a struggle with the Egyptian Al-Ahly club, which wanted to obtain Al-Taamari's services to strengthen its ranks before the Club World Cup, but the player's desire to continue in Europe tipped the balance in favor of the French club.
The deal will cost Rennes club an amount ranging between 8.5 and 9 million euros, after Al-Taamari welcomed the transfer to the team, the sources explained.
