Ammon News - Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), Hussein Shibli, said on Tuesday that a convoy of 100 trucks arrived in northern Gaza and began unloading aid from Jordan.
In a joint press conference on Tuesday morning with Minister of Government Communication and Official Government Spokesperson Muhammad Momani and the Director of Military Media, Brigadier General Mustafa Hiyari, that the resumption of the air bridge with international participation was initiated by Jordan since the beginning of the war on Gaza.
Under royal directives, planes representing a humanitarian air bridge operated by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) took off from the warehouses of the JHCO in Al-Ghabawi on Tuesday. This is not the first time that Jordan has operated humanitarian bridge flights to the Gaza Strip.
JHCO has repeatedly stressed that, in accordance with royal directives, it continues to coordinate with the relevant authorities to ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, with the aim of meeting urgent humanitarian needs and supporting those affected by the war.
