3.3-magnitude earthquake recorded in northwest Dead Sea

Ammon News - Ghassan Sweidan, head of the Jordan Seismological Observatory (JSO), revealed that an earthquake was recorded on Monday, in the Al-Karamah area, northwest of the Dead Sea.

Sweidan told Ammon News Agency that the earthquake was recorded at 1:30 pm on Monday, with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale.

He also explained that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 6 km, stressing that no one reported feeling it.
