Ammon News - Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament, Ahmad Safadi, received the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission's 2023 annual report on Thursday from its Chairman, Muhannad Hijazi, in the presence of the Commission's Board members.

During the meeting, Safadi reaffirmed the House's full support for the Commission’s mission to protect public funds and combat corruption in all forms.

He commended the Commission’s distinguished efforts, emphasizing the critical importance of its work in fulfilling public expectations and trust.

Hijazi highlighted the Commission’s commitment to maintaining transparency with the House of Representatives regarding its mechanisms and initiatives. He stressed the Commission's role in promoting awareness of integrity, applying its standards, and ensuring adherence to the rule of law.

Hijazi also outlined the Commission's key achievements for 2023 and presented recommendations aimed at improving its operations to safeguard public resources and address financial and administrative irregularities. Petra
