Ammon News - The Jordan Meteorology Department (JMD) warned of frost formation in the late night hours on Thursday, over the high southern highlands, the desert, and the plains.
On Friday, the Kingdom will experience a period of atmospheric instability, leading to a notable drop in temperatures and relatively cold weather. The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with scattered rain showers expected in the northern and central regions, as well as parts of the southern and western areas. These showers may be heavy for short durations and could be accompanied by thunderstorms and hail in certain areas, including the Dead Sea.
With night hours, the effect of the rain gradually weakens.
The JMD warns of the formation of floods in valleys and low-lying areas, including the Dead Sea, and the decline in horizontal visibility due to fog, low clouds and dust in desert areas, and the risk of slipping on wet roads.
Temperatures will rise on Saturday as the weather during the day will be relatively cold and partly cloudy in most parts of the Kingdom, and pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly winds.
