Ammon News - The spokesperson of Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD), Mousa Tarawneh confirmed that there’s no decision to raise cigarette prices in Jordan.

Tarawneh’s statement came after a letter circulated to raise the price of cigarettes, emphasizing that there’s no changing on the prices in local market.

The department has published last September the final prices for all types of cigarettes in Jordan.

The Department also sent official letter to all cigarette companies to commit to the
prices set for the products they manufacture.
