Ammon News - A plane belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces arrived at Marka Military Airport, carrying food, medical supplies and shelter kits provided by the Qatar Fund for Development, as part of an air bridge operated by the State of Qatar to provide relief to the brothers in the Syrian Arab Republic and contribute to addressing their humanitarian situation, according to a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The aid was received by Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar's ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Nasser said that a series of Qatari aid will reach the Syrian brothers through the Jordanian border.

He emphasized that this aid comes within the framework of Qatar's support for Syria and its constant support for the Syrian people.
