Ammon News - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) warned Monday that "one million displaced individuals in Gaza are at risk of death due to harsh winter conditions amidst the ongoing genocidal war."

In a statement posted on X, UNRWA highlighted: "Displaced people in Gaza urgently need protection from rain and cold, yet only about 23% of their needs have been met."

The agency reported that 945,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are vulnerable to severe cold this winter. It stressed the urgent need for aid to address the growing crisis and meet the vast humanitarian needs as the situation continues to worsen. Petra
