Ammon News - The Department of Political Affairs in the Syrian capital, Damascus, confirmed that it is working to prepare the conditions and ensure a safe environment to receive Syrians returning to the country.

Security forces and police forces began deploying in the Syrian capital on Monday to protect security and state institutions.

Al Jazeera quoted the department as calling on Syrians who were forced to leave to return and contribute to building Syria.

The new Syrian leadership looks forward to strengthening its relations with all countries on the basis of respect, seeking a constructive role in the region and the world in order to achieve security and stability, the department said.
