Ammon News - Israeli forces and colonists carried out 321 violations across towns and villages in Salfit Governorate over the past month, according to a report issued by Governor of Salfit, Abdullah Kamil.
The report highlighted significant damage to ancient olive trees, with 270 trees uprooted or destroyed in the villages of Deir Istiya and Yasuf.
It also documented 125 Israeli military raids into towns and villages in Salfit, which included the storming and ransacking of 18 homes, alongside the detention of 21 Palestinians.
Colonists and Israeli forces carried out 51 additional attacks, including 18 incidents of equipment theft and property confiscation, using the classification of the area as Area C as a pretext. Six properties were also destroyed.
Movement restrictions were another major issue, with the Israeli military enforcing 21 road closures and setting up 43 checkpoints across the governorate, severely limiting residents’ movement and isolating communities.
The report noted ongoing land confiscation, with Israeli authorities issuing two military orders to seize 554 dunums and 792 square meters of land in the villages of Yasuf, Marda, Kifl Haris and Kafr ad-Dik.
Furthermore, three homes and two structures were demolished in the towns of Deir Ballut and Al-Zawiya, whereas two dunums of agricultural land were bulldozed in the town of Sarta.
