Ammon News - The Kingdom is experiencing relatively cold weather across most regions, with a slight increase in temperatures expected on Thursday, though they remain slightly below the seasonal average.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, weather conditions will be relatively cold in most areas, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will enjoy mild temperatures. Low-altitude clouds are forecast, with a slight chance of light rain showers in the far north of the Kingdom during the morning. Winds will be moderate and westerly.

The department has issued warnings for early morning frost formation in high southern mountainous areas and the Badia region. Reduced horizontal visibility is also anticipated in highlands and plains due to fog during the early hours.

On Friday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, with cool conditions prevailing in most areas and relatively warm weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northern and central parts of the Kingdom may see low-altitude clouds, with moderate northwesterly winds.

The forecast for Saturday and Sunday indicates stable weather conditions, with cool temperatures in most areas and relatively warm weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High-altitude clouds may appear, accompanied by light winds shifting between northeasterly and northwesterly directions.

Today's high and low temperatures are forecast at 16 C and 7 C in eastern Amman, 14 C and 5 C in western Amman, 11 C and 4 C in the northern highlands, and 12 C and 2 C in Sharah highlands. The Dead Sea and Aqaba will experience warmer conditions, with highs of 24 C and lows of 12 C. Petra
