Ammon News - Relatively cold weather is expected across most parts of the Kingdom on Wednesday, with milder conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Low-altitude clouds will be visible, with a slight chance of light rain in the far northern regions. Moderate northwesterly winds will prevail.

The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) has issued warnings of possible frost formation during the early morning and late-night hours, especially in highlands, the eastern plains, and the desert regions. Fog may also form over mountains and parts of the plains, reducing visibility. Citizens are advised to dress warmly, especially during the colder morning and evening hours.

Temperatures will edge up slightly on Thursday and Friday, bringing relatively cool conditions to the highlands and pleasant weather elsewhere. Northern and central parts of the Kingdom may see scattered low clouds, accompanied by moderate southeasterly winds.

By Saturday, the weather will remain relatively cold in the highlands but will feel more comfortable in desert areas and plains. The Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience a touch of warmth, with scattered clouds appearing at varying altitudes and moderate winds shifting between northeasterly and northwesterly directions.

Expected high and low temperatures today are as follows: East Amman 12C-7C, West Amman 10C-5C, northern highlands 7C-3C, Sharah highlands 7C-3C, the Dead Sea 22C-13C, and Aqaba 22C-12C. Petra
