Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Dazzling scenery of over 15 kilometers down steep hills to reach Bin Hammad valley.. a hidden treasure in the southern Jordanian governorate of Karak.
A gusty spring waterfall drops on pools of water, walk further down towards the lowest point of the valley to find miniature caves ornamented in natural bright rainbow color formations that leaves you breathless.
See beautiful hanging gardens, palms and ferns, orchids and even sugarcane!
A narrow 'Siq' stretch cuts through two mountains, with a spectacular arch where the overhang has joined, only to find a mystifying small waterfall at the end of the stretch, backed over by a wide open area for picnicking, barbequing, and resting.
A site very well worth visiting for hiking, relaxing, natural adventures, meditating, and of course soaking in spring water.
Entry into the area is JD 1 for Jordanian citizens, JD 2 for foreigners.
