Ammon News - The Israeli occupation army rounded up 16 Palestinians during search-and-arrest raids across the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which sparked clashes in several locations.
Clashes erupted in Nablus in the Northern west Bank when troops stormed the nearby Askar refugee camp under a hail of bullets, but no casualties were reported, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said.
Jewish settlers, escorted by Israeli forces, also attacked Palestinian farms in Nahalin village, west of Bethlehem, and cut down 40 trees, the local municipality said.
Nahalin has been the scene of repeated settler attacks and today's assault came two days after the extremists uprooted 70 olive, grape and almond trees.
