The source also told Petra's reporter in Beirut on Saturday that Israeli aircraft launched a series of raids last night on the southern suburb of Beirut, including Al-Hadath, Haret Hreik, Burj Al-Barajneh and American neighborhoods. It said a total of 14 raids were recorded and the sound of explosions echoed across the Lebanese capital as thick black smoke rose from stricken areas. The source added that the Israeli military issued evacuation orders to residents before the war jets struck.
