Ammon News - On Wednesday, November 6, Minister of Government Communications Mohammad Momani declared that the government is facilitating talks on media to assist in conveying the state's message.
The meeting, hosted at the Prime Ministry with reporters and English-speaking content creators in local media, is a component of the Ministry's initiative to evaluate the media environment objectively and competently, while also addressing current issues.
During this inaugural gathering with English-speaking journalists and content creators, Momani highlighted the vital importance of media engaging with non-Arabic audiences, as it delivers Jordan's message to an international public.
He urged for increased efforts to convey the Kingdom’s message to the global audience in various languages, emphasizing Jordan’s political stances and initiatives concerning the economy, development, and tourism.
Momani further talked about the government's dedication to engaging experts and stakeholders from different domains, especially in media, to enhance the sector. He mentioned that the Ministry intends to establish a network linking English-language content creators with global media.
At the meeting, journalists and English-language content creators proposed that more specialized journalists be allocated to English-language divisions in official media outlets, as well as an increase in the number of bulletins within Jordanian media.
