On Sunday, Israeli forces continued their military operation in the northern Gaza Strip, with heavy artillery shelling in western Beit Lahia and two air raids on the center and north of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli tanks destroyed houses and residential buildings in Jabalia camp and Nuseirat camp, while a raid hit a vacant area near Al-Durra Hospital in Al-Tuffah neighborhood, and gunboats targeted western Nuseirat in central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army spokesperson stated on Sunday that a soldier died due to a hand grenade blast in the northern Gaza Strip, while on Saturday evening, the military spokesperson confirmed that two soldiers from the "Givati" Brigade had died in fights in the northern Gaza Strip.
