Israeli colonists plant trees on Palestinian lands in Jordan valley

Ammon News - Israeli colonists today began planting trees on Palestinian lands near the village of Ein al-Baida in the northern Jordan Valley.

Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh reported that a group of Israeli colonist embarked on planting olive trees this morning on agricultural lands to the south of the village of Ein al-Baida.

Yesterday, the colonists began bulldozing and plowing these lands in preparation for planting and seizing them, noting that they are owned by the Tabu of citizens from the village of Ein al-Baida, and their owners use them for agriculture.

In recent years, colonists' seizure of citizens' lands in the areas and villages of the northern Jordan Valley has surged significantly.
