Ammon News - Beit Lahia Municipality urgently called for help due to the severe humanitarian situation caused by the ongoing extermination war and blockade in northern Gaza Strip.
In its appeal, the municipality stated that Beit Lahia lacks food, water, hospitals, ambulances, civil defense, doctors, services (sewage and waste) and communications, urging the need to preserve whatever can be salvaged from the city facing devastation and extermination.
The international community, along with Arab, international, and humanitarian organizations, were urged to pressure the occupation to halt the genocide in northern Gaza Strip and Beit Lahia, and to facilitate a safe passage for essential supplies to support the health and service system.
It also demanded the arrival of civil defense and ambulance gear to assist in rescuing the martyrs and injured from beneath the debris, following several massacres by the occupation against the city's residents, including the recent Abu Shadaq and Al-Masri families massacre and the Abu Nasr massacre at the Beit Lahia project, leaving many martyrs trapped in the rubble.
Requesting the arrival of fuel necessary to power water wells, desalination plants, sewage pumps, and heavy machinery for clearing roads and debris to ease the passage of citizens, ambulances, and civil defence vehicles.
