Ammon News - Today, on Monday, radical Jewish settlers invaded the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque - Al-Haram Al-Sharif in the occupied city of Jerusalem, with the support of the Israeli occupation police.

According to a statement by the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem, numerous extremist settlers invaded Al-Aqsa in multiple groups, conducted suspicious tours, and engaged in provocative Talmudic rituals within its grounds. They were heavily guarded by Israeli occupation police and entered through the Mughrabi Gate.

In the recent days, Al-Aqsa Mosque saw frequent incursions by extremist settlers accompanied by occupation forces, on the Jewish "Feast of Tabernacles", where they committed various violations such as offering plants near the mosque, blowing the shofar and raising the flag of the occupying state, performing prostration collectively, dressing as temple priests, singing loudly on the mosque's western side, and attacking Jerusalemites and their property in the Old City.

From the start of the extensive Israeli attack on the Palestinian population in Gaza and the West Bank in October 2023, the occupying forces have increased their security at the entrances to Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City.
