According to a statement from the Ministry's media office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Iraqi air navigation has been temporarily halted due to regional tensions to ensure the safety of civil aviation in Iraqi airspace.
The General Company for Airports and Air Navigation Management has started clearing Iraqi airspace of aircraft arriving, departing, and transiting to ensure the safety of passengers and airplanes.
The General Company for Iraqi Airways has temporarily halted all flights as a precaution to ensure passenger safety until further notice.
