Ammon News - The Senate will be dissolved on October 24, 2024, following the Royal Decree issued today, Thursday.
The will is stated as: "Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, King of Jordan, after examining Constitution's Article (34) paragraph four and Article (40) paragraph (2/c), declares the dissolution of the Senate on October 24, 2024."
The Royal Decree was also released naming the following people as Senate members.
Here is the will written by Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, the King of Jordan. According to the Constitution's Article (36) and paragraph (2/c) of Article (40), we appoint the following individuals to serve as Senate members starting on October 24, 2024:
