Ammon News - Mohammad Al-Momani, Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson, stated that the process of increasing the tax on electric cars is still in progress.

During a press conference at the Prime Ministry on Tuesday, Al-Momani stated that when discussing the Council of Ministers' most crucial decisions, the main focus is on ensuring continuity and properly assessing their impact.

Al-Momani added that all decisions should be reassessed later to evaluate their effects over time, emphasizing that the government is in communication with the relevant agencies on the matter.

He clarified that discussions are currently taking place among the relevant ministers on this issue, some of which are publicized while others are conducted as bilateral meetings.
