Ammon News - In continuation of implementing the Royal Directives, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced Saturday the evacuation of 35 Jordanian citizens from Lebanon, via a military aircraft belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force, which had flown to Rafic Hariri International Airport on Saturday, carrying 15 tons of humanitarian aid for the brotherly Lebanese people.

This aircraft is the 8th of the Jordanian aid aircraft, bringing the total aid provided to Lebanon since the beginning of the Israeli aggression to 125 tons of food, relief supplies, medicines and medical supplies.

The ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Qudah, said that the number of Jordanians who were evacuated from Lebanon via two Royal Jordanian Air Force planes was 79 citizens, all of whom registered on the electronic platform for evacuation at the Jordanian Embassy in Lebanon, explaining that since the beginning of last August until now, 3,285 Jordanian citizens have arrived in the Kingdom from Lebanon, via Queen Alia International Airport, in addition to the numbers who arrived by land through the Jaber border crossing.

Qudah stated that the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut, in coordination with the Civil Aviation Authority, is cooperating with Middle East Airlines in operating additional flights to the Kingdom and allocating special seats for Jordanian citizens wishing to return to the Kingdom, in addition to helping secure a return by land to the Kingdom through the territory of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.
