Ammon News - Minister of Youth Eng. Yazan Shdeifat on Saturday discussed with the Bulgarian Ambassador , Metin Kazak, ways to enhance the prospects of bilateral youth cooperation and issues of common interest in this field.
During the meeting, Shdeifat referred to Jordan's "firm" positions towards the Palestinian people and the King's intensive and continuous efforts, regionally and internationally, to stop the aggression on Gaza Strip.
In this context, he also noted the King's endeavors to ensure the continued flow of relief, medical and humanitarian aid to Gazans adequately and sustainably, and stop the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
Shdeifat stressed that Jordanian youth enjoy special Royal care, as the Kingdom's successive governments placed support to the youth sector at the "top of national priorities."
Shdeifat referred to the plans and programs implemented by the ministry in the political and economic empowerment fields, entrepreneurship, voluntary work, as well as confronting climate change, and enhancing security and peace.
Furthermore, he hoped to activate youth cooperation with the Bulgarian Ministry of Youth.
For his part, Kazak expressed the embassy's readiness to facilitate communication and cooperation between Bulgarian Ministry of Youth and Sports and its Jordanian counterpart, aimed to empower youth, enhance their participation in social issues and public life, and face global challenges. Petra
