The Border Guards in the Southern Military Region, in coordination with the military security services and the Anti-Narcotics Department, thwarted a smuggling attempt using a drone that tried to cross the border illegally, the source added. The source confirmed that the JAF continue to harness their capabilities and capacities to confront such attempts targeting national security, pointing out that the Border Guard Forces use the latest technological means to carry out their duties on the various border fronts of the Kingdom.

Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone on Wednesday thwarted an attempt to smuggle large quantities of narcotics loaded by a drone, according to a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF).

The Border Guards in the Southern Military Region, in coordination with the military security services and the Anti-Narcotics Department, thwarted a smuggling attempt using a drone that tried to cross the border illegally, the source added.
