The Riyadh-based club expressed gratitude to Luis and his staff for their dedicated work in a post on X without disclosing why he was no longer in the role. Castro leaves after more than a year in charge of the team led by Cristiano Ronaldo. Under his leadership, Al Nassr lifted the Arab Club Champions Cup last year, competing against 37 teams from Asia and Africa. Currently, Al Nassr sits seventh in the league standings with five points, having won only one of their first three matches this season.
