Ammon News - Israeli occupation forces continued the aggression on the city and camp of Tulkarm for the second day in a row, causing significant destruction to the infrastructure and citizens' property.

The occupation forces are still besieging Tulkarm camp, and are sending more reinforcements of their heavy machinery and bulldozers into it, while bulldozing and destroying every street and alley inside the camp.

The occupation forces deployed foot patrols between the alleys of the camp, specifically in the neighborhoods of Al-Nadi, Al-Shuhada and Al-Balouna, and raided and searched citizens' homes, and turned many of them into military barracks.

Yesterday evening, the occupation soldiers forced most of the camp's residents to leave their homes and forcibly leave them, and seized a number of them and burned and demolished others.

Israeli occupation forces intensified their presence at the entrances to Tulkarm camp, specifically Nablus Street adjacent to its main northern entrance, and stationed military vehicles in several areas along the street, while completely preventing the movement of vehicles and citizens, and shooting at everything that moves.

The forces are still detaining five Red Crescent ambulance crews inside the camp, as the Red Crescent reported that contact with them has been lost so far.

Israeli occupation forces detained a number of citizens after storming their homes. However, their number and fate aren’t known so far due to the ongoing aggression and tightening the siege on the camp.

The occupation forces continue besieging the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city, obstructing the work of ambulance crews and the entry and exit of patients to the hospital and subjecting them to field interrogation.

In Nour Shams camp east of the city, the occupation bulldozers caused great damage to the infrastructure and citizens' property, concentrated around the Martyr Saif Abu Labdeh roundabout and the clinic neighborhood, after storming it late last night.

In Tulkarm city, the occupation forces raided the Water Department in the Tulkarm Municipality building last night, after removing its doors, searching it and vandalizing its contents, and detained Mohammad Al-Hamshari, the employee on duty.

The occupation forces blew up a warehouse belonging to Daghash family in Iktaba suburb east of the city. No injuries among civilians were reported, however.

In light of the continued storming of Tulkarm and its camp, the Education Directorate said it suspended classes in all schools in the governorate today in order to ensure the safety of students and teaching staff.

Yesterday, Ahmed Majdouba, 24, and Hiba Halawa were killed, succumbing to their wounds from Israeli bullets after storming the city and the camp, while 10 others were injured with varying wounds, some of them seriously.

Since August 28, the occupation forces have launched a large-scale aggression on the West Bank, especially the governorates of Tulkarm, Jenin and Tubas, which has so far resulted in the killing of 47 civilians, including 21 from Jenin, nine from Tulkarm, 13 from Tubas, three from Hebron, and a slain female from Nablus, which raises the death toll in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since October 7, 2023 to 699, including 159 children, 10 women, and 9 elderly people.
