It reiterated a pledge to "turn the Kingdom into an integrity and anti-corruption environment" in its annual 2023 report, which outlined its "qualitative" achievements, and challenges. In addition to dealing with individual malpractices and violations, the report said the anti-graft body has terminated tenders, including a training, maintenance and rehabilitation of tourist trails order, a fuel contract and a garment factory project worth millions, among others. The Commission also returned 5 million dinars to a public shareholding company due to an unlawful bid, conducted a reconciliation in a case that saved JD12-million, a 4-million livestock fodder purchase bid, and many more. Ammon News - The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC) said Monday it unveiled a number of corruption cases in 2023 leading to the retrieval of JD102 million, and also blocked the wasting of another JD38 million.
