The source noted that the border guard forces in the southern military region monitored an attempt by a drone to cross the border illegally. The rules of engagement were applied and it was shot down inside Jordanian territory, indicating that the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities. The source stressed that the JAF will continue to harness their various capabilities and potentials to prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling operations by force to maintain the Kingdom's security and stability.

Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone thwarted Monday, on its western front within its area of responsibility, an attempt to smuggle a quantity of narcotic substances carried by a drone, a responsible source in the General Command of Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army announced.

The source noted that the border guard forces in the southern military region monitored an attempt by a drone to cross the border illegally.
