PM: Jordan will not allow any breach of its airspace by any party

Ammon News - Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh, in a cabinet session on Sunday condemned the brutal Israeli aggression that took place on Al-Tabi'een school in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City.

Khasawneh stressed that this aggression constitutes an additional crime added to the shameful record of crimes, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and serious violations that the Israeli occupation authorities and the Israeli occupation army have been practicing and continue to practice in Gaza and the West Bank, which in their entirety constitute a clear violation of the rules of international law and international humanitarian law, and before that, a violation of human values ​​and dignity.

The Prime Minister reiterated Jordan's firm position on the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, as His Majesty King Abdullah II has been leading, since the first day of the aggression, an activity and effort whose central and fundamental basis is to reach a sustainable ceasefire and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to our people in Gaza.

"We must always continue this noble endeavor, alongside our efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the extent possible to our people in the Gaza Strip, and to support our people in the West Bank with the humanitarian aid they need," he said.

Regarding the tension and escalation between Israel and Iran, the Prime Minister stressed that Jordan will not allow any breach of its airspace by any party and will confront threats to its national security and citizens' safety.

Khasawneh pointed out that Jordan has clearly and explicitly informed the Iranians and Israelis that it will not allow anyone to violate its airspace and endanger the lives or safety of its citizens, and will confront any attempt to violate its airspace to the extent it is able and according to its capabilities and potential.

The Prime Minister also reiterated the need for the course of life in the Kingdom to be regular and steady, because this process is what strengthens our resilience and the resilience of our national economy in a way that enables us to support our public issues and our people in the Gaza Strip and all of Palestine, and various Arab issues.
