Jordan sends 120 aid trucks to Gaza within week

Ammon News - The Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army and the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) and in cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP), and with the support of Al Baraka Swiss Association, Bios, Al Imdad Charity, GIG, Tesco, SKT, Zain, Jordan Pharmacists Syndicate and Wahb Al Ghaith Initiative, sent 120 trucks of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip this week.

The trucks carry ready-to-eat meals, food parcels, flour, clothes, blankets, personal care packages and rice.

JHCO's Secretary-General, Hussein Shibli, said that Jordanian efforts have never stopped despite the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

"We are working around the clock to attract more donors, send more aid, and increase the number of trucks sent from Jordan to the people in Gaza," he added.

The total number of trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip to date is 2,735 trucks and 53 aircraft via El-Arish Airport, Shibli noted.

The JHCO continues to receive cash donations through its bank account at Bank al Etihad No. JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 9151 06 or via the the "CliQ" service under the name JHCOGAZA, in addition to eFAWATEERCOM and through its official websit, www.jhco.org.jo.
