Ammon News - A foreigner attempted to attack Israeli troops at the entrance to Netiv Ha’asara on Monday morning is identified by Hebrew media as a Canadian citizen.
According to authorities, the assailant approached soldiers guarding the community and said, “The Israeli forces is killing civilians in Gaza” and then drew a knife.
The suspect entered Israel yesterday on a tourist visa, reports reveled.
He was shot by troops during the attempted attack, according to the Times of Israel.
