Ammon News - Dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured on Monday as the Israeli occupation aircraft and artillery bombed various areas of the Gaza Strip, mainly the eastern region of the city of Khan Yunis in the south, on the 290th day of the ongoing Israeli aggression and war of extermination.

12 citizens were killed and dozens injured as a result of bombing raids by occupation warplanes on the eastern areas of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, coinciding with intense artillery shelling on the same area.

Ambulance crews recovered a slain person and a number of wounded following the bombing of a house in Sheikh Nasser neighborhood in central Khan Yunis.

Paramedics transported the body of a child who was killed as a result of the occupation bombing of her family’s home in the town of Bani Suhaila, east, to Nasser Medical Hospital.

Ambulance teams also recovered a female slain civilian and a number of wounded in the occupation bombing of the Jadallah family home, west of the city of Khan Yunis.

The occupation army blew up two residential squares in Tal Al-Sultan and Al-Saud neighborhoods, west of the city of Rafah, and clouds of thick smoke rose in the place.

The center of the Gaza Strip is seeing intense flights of Quadcopter drones, specifically in the airspace of Nuseirat camp.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah said that child, Maryam Mustafa al-Khatib, was killed as a result of her injuries sustained in the bombing of an apartment in Nuseirat camp.

In the north, the occupation warplanes launched two raids in the vicinity of the University College in Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City, and a third raid east of the city.

The raids targeted a house in the University College area southwest of Gaza City, causing it to catch fire, with difficulty for ambulance crews to reach the area due to its danger.

Paramedics from the Red Crescent recovered three slain civilians and a number of wounded as a result of a missile attack on a residential apartment belonging to Al-Batsh family on Al-Nakhl Street in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

They were transferred to Al-Baptist Hospital in the city.

The occupation warplanes targeted a group of citizens in the vicinity of Albin Mosque in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, which led to the killing of a citizen and the injury of others.

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to 38,983 reported fatalities, with an additional 89,727 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.
