Ammon News - The Amman Summer Festival on Friday evening concluded the evenings of its 16th edition, which were held from July 12-19.
The festival, which was organized by Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), featured Jordanian folklore activities, as well as children-oriented programs.
The festival activities were held in Al-Hussein Gardens and Al-Jubaiha Gardens, as the GAM allocated shopping outlets by setting up bazaars aimed at displaying and marketing handicraft and household products.
About 100 participants from the local community from various governorates of the Kingdom benefited from bazaars, which extended over the event's days and motivated owners of popular handicrafts, embroideries and foods to market their products, according to a GAM statement.
Additionally, the statement noted 400,000 free books were distributed during the festival at a rate of 500 titles daily to citizens on various fields of literature, education, science, and children’s stories. Petra
